Curly Bread :)

Jangan bingung dengan judul di atas.
Di resep aslinya, judulnya 'kue gulung isi srikaya' (versi majalah Femina). Setelah jadi di dapur kita, namanya sy ubah jadi 'martabak gulung'. Ternyata anak2 gak familiar dgn kata martabak (kesian yah!). Kog susah bgt mereka disuruh nyebutin martabak. Bolak-balik lupa, nanya2 melulu. AKhirnya, Patrick (si food oriented... mendinglah drpd jadi money oriented toh) memberi nama Curly Bread. Okey,... semua nerima.
Jadi nama inilah yg popular di rumah kita.
2-3 minggu terakhir, resep ini cukup popular di mailist ar-91 saat kita rame2 ngebahas makanan2 yg ngangenin tapi kudu praktis bikinnya. ha..ha..ha.. I miss you all, my friends! Kangen ama studio perancangan, kangen masa2 panik menjelang pengumpulan gambar, ... kangen maen sepak bola di lapangan Aula Timur!

Curly Bread

125 tepung terigu, ayak
1/2 sdt ragi instant
25 gr gula pasir
250 ml susu cair
1 butir telur ayam
1 sdt mentega, lelehkan
1/4 sdt garam
Isi/topping: sesuai selera,
butter untuk olesan
meysus-keju parut-susu kental manis...

1. Campur terigu, ragi dan gula pasir, aduk rata. Tuangi susu, aduk hingga rata.
Masukkan telur, mentega cair, dan garam, aduk kembali. Diamkan selama 30 menit.
2. Tuang 50 ml adonan di atas wajan datar beroles mentega. Masak hingga matang.
3. Olesi tiap 'kue' dengan mentega taburi topping, gulung perlahan. Lakukan hingga selesai.
4. Potong melintang 2 bagian, sajikan hangat.

hwaaaa, mintaaaaakkk.. huhuhu sdh lama niy ga ada yg nongol di kantor sambil bawa kue2 homemade.. kangen ih, sm yg bawa dan sm kue2nya.. hahahaha..

duh, ketika gw butuh banyak santapan lezat buat bekal menyusui, ketapa elo begitu jauh di mumbai sana mbak..

numpang tanya yaaa...
itu kue tabaknya perlu dibalik2 pas di pan-fry? ato tidak perlu ya, one side aja pan frynya sampai muncul bubble2?
