[Click-Beans & Lentils] Fun with Colorful Indian Beans and Lentils
Indian Culinary never stop amazes me. From different kind of spices, different size of rice, variety of veggies & fruits, to beans & lentils. One bean or lentil might have only a single name, but more than one varians; taste, shapes, sizes & colors. My knowledge in this beans & lentils world is limited. Until today I satisfy myself only in admiring & enjoying it, unable to explain it one by one. Perhaps, some day after one year living in India, I would be able to explain it.
The subjects in my picture are some of the most common & popular beans & lentils in India; Kabuli Chana, Jammu Rajma, Masoor, Jawar, Udiddal, Masoordal, Toordal, Moong Bean, Moongdal ...
They are easy available in the traditional markets or modern supermarkets.
The photograph is my entry for this month Click Monthly Event which the current theme is Beans & Lentils.
Click is my first blog event that I'm participating regularly. I have never had any experience in blog event before. Thanks to Jai & Bee, the host of this event. This event is very fun & interesting for me personally (thought I have never won :D).
**Now I'm still looking for an idea what to do with these different kind of beans & lentils that I bought. Each one of them only weight 100gram.
Any idea??
