Chocolate Oatmeal COOKIEs

prep: 25 min, bake 8 min per batch
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cup sugar (reduce to 1 1/4 cup)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 6-ounces package semisweets chocolate pieces~1 cup
Walnut halves
*instead of placing a walnut half on each cookie,
you can stir 2/3 cup chopped walnuts into the dough along with the chocolate pieces.
1. Preheat the oven to 375 F. In a large mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add the sugar, baking powder, and baking soda; beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Beat in melted chocolate, egg, and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in any remaining flour, the rolled oats, and chocolate pieces with a wooden spoon.
2.Drop dough by slightly rounded teaspoons about 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Top each dough mound with a walnut half.
3.Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are firm. Transfer cookies to wire racks and cool.
*store at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze fo up to 3 months.

aku bikin sponge cake yang gak pake emulsifier, tapi pas tepung terigu dimasukkan kok bergindil ya gak rata gitu padahal udah diayak saat dimasukkan en diaduk dari bawah ke atas.
Sebetulnya bisa gak sih diaduk pake mixer? bisa rata en gak bantat?
duuuh foto2ku masih jauh dibanding punya Mbak Syl *malu.

sy justru gak punya pengalaman sam-sek ttg emulsifier, belom pernah pake, belom tau bentuknya :)
Nah ttg masukin terigu, coba masukinnya bertahap, dikit2...
Pake mixer, biasanya sy jg melakukan hal itu, pake mixer berkecepatan rendah, masukin dikit2. Kadang sy kadang udah 2/3 terigu masuk (dikocok pake mixer) trus di stop, sisanya baru diaduk manual, pake spatula. Sejauh ini lumayan berhasil.
Apakah waktu tepung dimasukkan trus dimixer adonan gak kempes/turun?
Trus mo nanya satu lagi ya mbak, kalo mbak bikin pound cake itu aduk mentega dan gulanya berapa lama sih mbak? soalnya kalo mentega & gula itu ngembangnya kan gak terlalu keliatan bedanya.
Kalau telur & gula kan keliatan kalo udah siap dimasuki tepung (udah kental dan berjejak)

akhirnya kue ini ga pernah habis dimakan coz kita ga tlalu suka manis hix...tp tx buat xmas cookiesnya....laku bener deeeh...
